Frequently asked questions
How does custom split work?
Tick "Custom split" before adding a transaction, then adjust each person's share. The total must equal the transaction amount.
What are "extra percentage charges"?
Enable extra charge, set a % (e.g., 5% tip), and assign to a person (or "All equally"). When you click "Add", the extra amount is added to the total and assigned to the chosen person(s).
Can I edit a transaction's split later?
Currently you can remove and re-add. We'll add edit in future updates.
How to print or save as PDF?
Click "Print / PDF" — the report will be optimized for printing (hides buttons, adjusts layout). Use browser's save as PDF option.
How to export the settlement report?
Use "Copy report (text)" to copy to clipboard, or "Export .txt file" to download a .txt with full details.
What if I remove a person with transactions?
You'll be prompted to confirm; all transactions by that person will be deleted to keep balances correct.
